Rename or delete a Shopify widget

On Shopify: open Widgeteer from Apps in your Shopify admin. If you delete a widget, also remove its block from your theme to keep things tidy.

“Newsletter Signup”, “Newsletter Signup”, “Newsletter Signup”. Which one’s live?

Give your widgets names you’ll recognise. And clear out the ones you don’t need.

Rename a widget

Open the widget and click the pencil next to its name. Type the new name and press Enter.

Only you see the name. It doesn’t change anything on your site.

Delete a widget

Open the widget, scroll to the bottom and click Delete widget. Then confirm.

Deleting stops the widget showing anywhere you added it. It can’t be undone. Deleted widgets still count towards your plan’s widget limit.
