You asked for a widget. Widgeteer said no.
That’s not a bug. Before it builds anything, Widgeteer reads your request and checks it’s safe. Same for every change you ask for with Edit with AI.
Most requests are fine. We turn down anything harmful or built to trick people, forms that ask for card numbers or passwords, and, for now, requests not written in English.
The English rule is only for what you type to us. Ask for your widget’s words in any language you like, or edit them yourself afterwards.
Why we’re strict
Your widget goes on your website, in front of your customers, with your name on it.
If anyone could build a convincing fake bank login with a sentence, it would end up on someone’s site. We’d rather say no to a few odd requests than let that happen.
Think we got it wrong?
It happens. The check is done by AI, and AI isn’t perfect.
- Read the reason shown under the box. It usually says what the problem was.
- Try saying it differently, plainer and more specific.
- Still stuck? Email us at hello@widgeteer.ai with what you typed. A real person will look at it.
A declined request doesn’t use up a widget or an AI edit.
