widgeteerA long contact form with eight boxes looks like homework. Ask the same questions one at a time and people breeze through them. This enquiry form works like Typeform: a progress bar, one question on screen, press Enter to move on. This example is set up for a wedding photographer, but the questions are yours to change.
What it asks
- The wedding date, so you can check your diary before you reply
- The venue
- Their budget
- How they found you, which tells you where your bookings really come from
- Name and email, last, once they are already invested
What you can change
- Every question, its hint and whether it is required
- The answer type: short text, date, email, a choice list and more
- One question per step, or a few per step for shorter forms
- Button words, the thank you message and the error message
A Typeform alternative that is yours
Typeform is lovely, but its free plan caps how many responses you get each month, and the paid plans are priced by responses too. And Typeform is a form tool. Widgeteer builds this enquiry form, then your packages and prices, your before and after gallery, your FAQ and your WhatsApp button, all from one account. Each enquiry is emailed to you, sent to Telegram or Airtable, or passed to Zapier, Make, n8n and a growing list of other tools, and it works on WordPress, Squarespace, Wix or any site that takes an embed code.
