widgeteerA before and after photo does more selling than any paragraph. This slider puts both photos in the same frame with a handle in the middle. Visitors drag it left and right to see the change for themselves. Tabs along the top let you show several projects in one place, each with a short title and description.
Built for trades and makeovers
- Kitchen and bathroom fitters, builders and decorators
- Landscapers and gardeners
- Cleaners, especially end of tenancy and deep cleans
- Hairdressers, barbers, beauty and aesthetics clinics
- Car detailers, upholsterers, furniture restorers
What you can change
- Each project’s tab name, title and description
- The before and after photos, with a description of each for screen readers
- The labels on the photos, so “Before” and “After” can say “2019” and “Now”
- Where the handle starts
- Over 30 colour schemes for the tabs and labels
For the best result, take both photos from the same spot at the same height. The slider does the rest.
A TwentyTwenty alternative, and a lot more
The TwentyTwenty plugin was closed on WordPress.org in December 2024 over a security issue, and it is no longer available to download. It only ever did one thing anyway. Widgeteer builds this slider, then your quote form, your reviews wall, your FAQ and anything else you describe, all from one account. One tool instead of a plugin for every section of your site, and it runs on WordPress, Shopify, Wix or any site that takes an embed code.
